HTC Ozone – Verizon Wireless

HTC Ozone – Verizon Wireless

HTC Ozone has a good set of messaging features, which will definitely please the texting fanatics. You have text and multimedia messaging with threaded support, instant messaging, decent call quality, visual voice mail (for which you will have to pay a monthly fee) and email. You have access to POP3 / IMAP accounts and to Microsoft Exchange server. Ozone comes with Microsoft Office Mobile Suite, which means that you can view and edit Word/ Excel/ Power Point documents.

To input a text, you have a full QWERTY keyboard at your disposal. The latter has decent sized buttons, but because they do not have any space between them, the keypad looks and feels a little bit cramped. However, the keys are raised above the surface, which makes typing easier. You have a large space bar, dedicated @ and speakerphone keys and the numbers are highlighted in bright lemon green.

The 2.4 inches LCD display delivers colorful graphics, but its low resolution (240 x 320 pixels) does take its told. The basic phone features include: a phone book limited by the available memory, alarm clock, vibrate mode, conference call capability, task list, voice recorder, calendar, calculator and others. The more advanced users will appreciate Wi- Fi, voice commands, stereo Bluetooth, Internet Explorer Mobile, Ev- Do Rev.

The multimedia features are not impressive: you have a digital player and a 2 megapixels camera that has editing options, digital zoom and video recording capabilities. The pictures taken by this camera are decent: although you will notice an orange hue to the images, they are sharp enough and the colors look bright. Because it is 3G capable, Ozone is compatible with the V Cast services.
